In your mod manager activate new FNIS.esp created by Nemesis.Click Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine and wait for it to finish.Run Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine executable and select any patches you want/have.
Install Enderal FNIS patch (only if you skipped steps 1-3).Install Nemesis as you would any other mod.If you get any warnings in your mod manager about missing masters ignore them for now Delete FNIS Data which was created by FNIS when you first installed and used it.Uninstall FNIS from your mod manager like any other mod.If you have not used FNIS with your Enderal before and are installing Nemesis on fresh game, skip to step 4. However, even for this version Enderal FNIS patch is still needed. According to Nemesis creator this version supports Enderal. As of this writing the latest version of Nemesis is 0.84-beta. Steps provided are both for switching from FNIS to Nemesis and installing Nemesis on fresh game. If you don't know anything about what is written here, this post is likely not meant for you! I am merely a regular mod user who wants to share what they learned, so potential future readers will have an easier time. I am not a mod creator and I have no idea how they work. No questions related to this topic or correct load order will be answered. If you encounter any problems afterwards, post them on support forums for the respective mods and not here. Having said that, THIS IS NOT A TROUBLESHOOTING thread. It is assumed that you already know enough about modding that you know where to look for what you need.
No links or step-by-step tutorials on how to install mods in general will be provided, as this is not the aim of this post. It is assumed that the person reading this uses a mod manager and knows how to download and install mods with it and has already installed all other pre-requisite mods needed by either FNIS or Nemesis. Hopefully this post will answer most of what you are looking for in one spot. It provides the basic minimum information to answer questions I had when faced with the same problem and had to gather them from various sources across internet, some of which were outdated or misleading. The aim of this post is a one stop shop to provide an updated (as of January 2021) information for people who might be looking up on Nemesis compatibility with Enderal or wanting to update from FNIS to Nemesis. You can safely use it with Enderal (with Enderal FNIS patch) instead of FNIS. As of this edit, all information contained is still valid for Enderal (LE) and unlikely to change going forward.
This post was made with Enderal LE version in mind.
